Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. Beginning his career in television Evans portrayed roles including Opposite sex in 2000. Following his appearance in a variety of teenage films, like Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned as the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019, brought him more recognition. Within the Marvel Universe, his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America helped him become the world's highest paid actor.
