The Critics Choice Movie Awards nominated her for Best Young Actress in 2010 for Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The role she played as the title character in Super 8 earned her recognition at the Hollywood Terrorist Festival in the year 2011. The role she played was the main one as the titular character We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
