Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. As a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and famous musician has described the voice of this young artist as sassy and sweet and grit. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was made available in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, received an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. It featured collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to appear in a solo performance on the show. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
