MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global progress into the Latin popular music scene. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The artist released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year he joined Ozuna on The Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He also collaborated on a track with Noriel to record Mala Influencia in 2020 and next year, released his sophomore album which was the charting Dopamina. He appeared in 2021 as a duo TINI for her hit online single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in a household of music both his parents are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. He started playing the saxophone, guitar, the keyboard and the ukulele when he was a young child. While his initial goal was becoming a veterinarian his brother Julian was able to convince him to enroll in singing lessons from an instructor in Cuban.
